About

The significance of the role of leading behaviour in schools
and colleges is often underestimated
and the leaders themselves, underdeveloped.
The fatigue that comes from constant firefighting can be demoralising and a fast track to burnout.

The academy is a clarion call to all leaders of behaviour:
SENCOs, Heads of Year, Pastoral and Inclusion Leads,
Deputy and Assistant Heads,
are YOU ready to take behaviour leadership to the next level?
Whole school behaviour change needs leaders
who are not lone rangers.
Alongside a tailored curriculum, we give you access to a behaviour leadership community; like-minded people, who understand the pressures and share your passion for change.

The academy curriculum will help you to be more than a sounding board for behaviour issues, but a source of behaviour solutions.
It is designed to give leaders like YOU the specialised and comprehensive training that you deserve and that your complex role necessitates.
I hear these questions often:
'How do we get staff to understand that behaviour is everyone's responsibility?'
'How do we help them see that all roles in schools are somewhat pastoral?'
We help you to support your team to see that
they don't just teach subjects, they teach students,
who are not simply problems to be solved but people to be supported.
School leaders and teachers are currently navigating a complex landscape when it comes to behaviour:
Rising levels of pupil dysregulation and complex behaviour.
Growing mental health needs but limited in-school support.
Increased number of SEND learners in mainstream classrooms.
Staff burnout and leadership fatigue.
Lack of consistency and alignment in approaches to behaviour.
Our academy tutors work in schools and know firsthand the challenges facing school leaders.
Our curriculum is evidence-informed and classroom-tested, ready for real-world application.
I know what you're thinking...
Does it actually make a difference?
With confidence we can say that the academy curriculum will:
Move
your staff team towards greater clarity and consistency when it comes to managing student behaviour.
Equip
you as the behaviour leader with fresh insights as to how to reduce persistence low level disruption and how to transfer these skills to colleagues.
Cause
you to breathe a sigh of relief as you partner with people who see you, hear you and share your heart for building inclusive school communities.
Provide
vital coaching tools to enhance your leadership as you support colleagues towards competent classroom management.
Renew
your confidence and motivation for the role, as you learn from other leaders and reflect on your own practice.
What makes this course unique is that it has been designed by a behaviour leader, for behaviour leaders.
Tracey Campbell, the academy founder, was one of the UK's first Advanced Skills Teachers in Behaviour Management, she has been a teacher and leader in mainstream schools and alternative provisions. Now, with over 10+ years of consultancy experience under her belt she says,
'I felt compelled to create something designed solely with Behaviour Leaders in mind. No more having to sift through generic CPD to find something relevant to your role.
The curriculum has been informed by 30 years of experience in education and over 10+ years in behaviour consultancy.
I've heard the cries of behaviour leaders and have responded with this curriculum and community. You've waited long enough.
Let's go!'
